9,000 words

Today is a bittersweet day for me—I’ve completed my journey through the three little books! I've spent countless hours reflecting and journaling under their guidance. I can now say with great pleasure that I’ve gotten to know both you and myself a little better. This has been such a pleasant discovery, especially given my slightly advanced age, as I wondered if I could still gain relevant insights and learn from this three-book journey. After generating over 9,000 words in my journal, I can answer that question with a resounding yes!

I was a little surprised by some of my discoveries as I wandered through the books. Subconsciously, I had assumed I was at a point in my life where I should be sitting back and contemplating the world from the perspective of a life well spent and a retirement well earned. However, working through the three little books woke me up to the realization that I was getting stuck in my comfort zone and needed a push forward. There is still so much to discover, loads to learn, and many experiences to be had.

I deeply enjoyed reading about your various life experiences and marvelled at your courage to share them so openly. Your stories are the key to gaining understanding and insight from each question you pose. I often found myself amazed at the similarities in our experiences and learnings. In some cases, I discovered deeper insights and growth that prompted me to reflect back in time and gain a better understanding of long-ago events.

Regarding the books themselves—what a joy they are! The artistry that so elegantly captures the theme of each story made me feel like a little kid with a storytime book, each page revealing a different panorama. They are truly art and a suitable medium to capture your wonderful insights and experiences. You must be very proud of these little books; they are so you!

Thank you so much for sharing this gift with us. I will pass them on to Matt and Heddy, who are looking forward to their own journey through the little book world!
